These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mail DMZ service (“Mail DMZ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Mail DMZ, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Mail DMZ is an email protection and forwarding service that allows users to create unlimited email aliases under an assigned or custom subdomain (for example, {anything}@{nickname}.maildmz.com) and forward incoming messages to the email address specified in your account settings. Mail DMZ functions solely as a routing and forwarding intermediary and does not originate, edit, or author email content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mail DMZ and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for safeguarding your account.
You must provide accurate and current information.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Mail DMZ for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Spam, phishing, or fraudulent email activity
Email harassment or abuse
Distribution of malware or malicious payloads
Violations of applicable email or anti-spam laws (including CAN-SPAM)
Attempts to bypass security, filtering, or rate limits

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose reputational, legal, or operational risk.

5. Email Forwarding Disclaimer

Email forwarding is provided on a best-effort basis. Mail DMZ does not guarantee delivery, latency, or inbox placement. Messages may be delayed, filtered, rejected, or lost due to factors outside our control, including recipient mail servers and third-party providers.

6. Content Responsibility

You retain sole responsibility for all email content received through your Mail MZ aliases. Mail DMZ does not inspect message content except, the platform simply forwards the message to the recipient.

7. Privacy & Data Handling

7.1 Information We Collect

Mail DMZ collects and stores only the minimum information necessary to operate the Service:

Your name
Your email address

We never store the content of email messages.

7.2 Log Retention

Mail DMZ temporarily stores email routing logs strictly for diagnostic and reliability purposes. These logs are retained for no more than 7 days and are automatically deleted thereafter. The contents of the logs include: to and from addresses, message IDs, other metadata, and any error information.

7.3 Analytics

We use web analytics on our website solely for marketing, performance measurement, and service improvement.

7.4 Billing & Payments

All billing information, including payment card details, is processed and stored exclusively by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Mail DMZ does not store or have direct access to your payment information.

8. Fees and Billing

Mail DMZ is offered as a subscription service. Pricing and billing frequency are disclosed at signup or within your account dashboard.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Non-payment may result in suspension or termination.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Mail DMZ at any time for violations of these Terms, legal obligations, abuse complaints, or non-payment. Upon termination, email forwarding will immediately cease and aliases will be released.

10. Intellectual Property

Mail DMZ and its associated software, branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service without written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mail DMZ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mail DMZ and Alloy Lab, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mail DMZ and Alloy Lab, LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mail DMZ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Missouri.
